All too often liver disease is only found when it is quite advanced. This means treatment is less likely to work. But the good news is that most cases of liver disease could be prevented.

Our Mobile liver scan events are for people who want to find out more about their liver health or are worried that they may be at risk of developing liver disease.

At mobile liverscan events you can take our liver health screener to see if you might be at increased risk of liver disease. You can also have a free, liver scan. This is a quick, simple, and painless test, carried out by one of our specialist liver scan staff and volunteers.

We take our mobile scan all over the California, visiting locations also in neighboring states.  you can see our upcoming dates below. We continue to work to organize additional dates, so we encourage you to check this page regularly and sign up for our regular updates.

Our aim is to visit as many areas of the country as we can each year. We’d love to be out and about with the mobile unit every day but our service is entirely funded by voluntary donations and so we have to raise the money to make the events happen. If you know of a funding source that could help us visit your region then please let us know!

Attending a mobile liver scan event

​

Our mobile liver scan event usually run from 10am to 3pm on a drop-in basis, with no appointment needed. Sometimes events can get very busy and we may have to close the queue before 2pm. If you can, we advise that you arrive earlier in the day.

​

Please fast for 3 hours with no food or drink of any calories prior to the scan.

​

Please contact us the day before the event for confirmation.
